Purnima, a native of the enchanting Uttarkashi, emerges as a testament to the harmonious blend of mountainous passion and academic excellence. From her early years, the towering peaks of Uttarkashi served as both playground and inspiration, steering her towards the realms of hiking and trekking. These formative experiences, acquired in the lap of nature, laid the foundation for a life deeply intertwined with adventure.


Cycling and water activities seamlessly integrate into Purnima's narrative, shaping her lifestyle and fostering a holistic connection with the outdoors. The rhythmic pedal strokes on mountain trails and the immersive embrace of water activities became integral facets of her identity. Yet, it is not merely the activities themselves but the joy and positive energy she exudes that make Purnima's outdoor pursuits truly exceptional. Her ability to create a familial bond with clients reflects not only professional competence but a genuine passion for sharing the joy of adventure.


Academically, Purnima's journey began in esteemed government institutions in Uttarkashi, where she completed her high school and intermediate education. Her intellectual pursuits led her to HNB, Uttarkashi, where she embarked on a Bachelor's in Arts with a focus on Sanskrit and Political Science. Graduating with distinction, she further honed her academic prowess by earning a Master's in Political Science from SDSUV, securing excellent marks. Purnima's commitment to education aligns seamlessly with her adventurous spirit, showcasing a balance between the cerebral and the physical.


Beyond the academic realm, Purnima ventured into personal qualifications that speak volumes about her commitment to mountaineering and guiding. She successfully completed both the Low Altitude Guide Course and the High Altitude Guide Course, each a stepping stone in her journey towards mastery. A defining achievement came with a successful expedition to Dhumdhar Kandi Pass, challenging herself at an altitude of 5490 meters.


Undeterred by the heights already conquered, Purnima set her sights even higher, undertaking the Black Peak expedition at a formidable 6,387 meters. These endeavors demonstrate not only her physical resilience but also her indomitable spirit in the face of challenging terrains. Further solidifying her expertise, Purnima completed the Basic Mountaineering Course at the prestigious Nehru Institute of Mountaineering (NIM), adding another layer to her already impressive repertoire.
